Wayne Rooney & Wife Spent £150000 On A Kitchen They Don’t Really Use

Manchester United star-Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen Rooney spent £150,000 on a kitchen in their huge mansion, but neither of them relish using the expensive kitchen.

In a new documentary, Rooney admits “the only thing he can whip up in the kitchen with any culinary finesse is beans on toast, and his wife Coleen says while she loves a Sunday roast, it’s her own mother Colette McLoughlin who has to make it,”

According a UK’s Sun’s report, the Rooney’s selected a £145,533 Clive Christian kitchen for their home in Prestbury, Cheshire, which includes a £20,000 Wolf Duel fuel oven.

The documentary gives viewers a rare glimpse into the home life of millionaire footballert, and it “also sees him show off his prized possessions, including a collection of guitars signed by his music idols such as Noel Gallagher and Sir Paul McCartney and an extensive trophy room which boasts his sporting accolades,” the website added.

The new doc which starts showing tomorrow on BBC One reveals how Rooney is interested in poetry and how he often writes poems for his wife as a surprise.

In relation to the above, Rooney said: ‘I used to love writing poems before I was with Coleen, just normal poems. I used to like to write little stories. So when I first got with Coleen I used to write her a lot of poems but that’s died down a little bit of late’.
