‘It Hurts When People Say Dancing is the Only Thing I Know How to do’- Peter Okoye

In a new interview with HipTV, Peter Okoye revealed that it hurts him when people refer to him as simply a ‘dancer.’

“During P-Square, I was the one doing the whole structure, trying to get things properly done,” he said, adding, “I have been a creative person. But people still look at me as a dancer. It hurts.”

While he insists that he is at peace with his brother Paul Okoye, the twins are running their independent brands.

Now, he affirms that he is on his own and this presents him the opportunity of redefining his brand’, of proving that he is more than just the dancer in P-Square. “Now, I will do what I have always wanted. I was limited before.”
