Alikiba Makes Peace With Wizkid, Slams Fans Trolling the Nigerian Singer
Tanzanian singer Alikiba has made a big step in resolving the recent drama involving him and Wizkid, and this comes hours after the organisers of the MTV EMAs stripped the Nigerian singer of the Best African Act award.
“I am not happy with what has been going on, on social
media,” the singer began, noting the smear campaign by his countrypoeple against Wizkid.
“I have a great appreciation for @wizkidayo as a fellow artist and as a fan,” he continued. “I am very disappointed and saddened by the insults and attacks directed at him, and I want to be very clear that I condemn this behaviour and I believe none of my true fans are part of this irrational silliness and stupidity as they know I have always had love for @wizkidayo.
“Drown out the noise from the haters bro, congratulations on your very successful year. Much love from my real fans and from Tanzania,” he added,
The drama between the two singers started at Chris Brown’s concert in Kenya, when they fought over who should open the night first, each claiming he is the biggest star.
The feud got to a peak when Wizkid was awarded the Best African Act at the just concluded MTV EMA but was stripped of the award and same given to Alikiba after Tanzanians took to social media to protest.
